Simple Gift

Working by lantern light, I wrapped this simple gift last night using brown craft paper, dark brown grosgrain ribbon, red Canson paper (lovely saturated colors, sold in large sheets at art stores) a bit of bakers twine, and my gift tag template, which you can find here. Wrapped in the package is half a loaf of banana bread.

Our electricity returned this morning, and thankfully that was the end of what turned out to be a lot of rain, but nothing more. If only it was so easy for the people up in New Jersey and New York.

It hardly seems like Halloween because the past few days have been so unusual, but it is, so...Happy Halloween, and all the best.
