Or Monday...

A busy day today, and still no new paper. Monday, Monday! Geez. Sorry.

No sense in relaying every detail of the day, but while I'm here I will tell an interesting part of it...I occasionally play TAPS for grave markings of Revolutionary War or War of 1812 vets who didn't receive military honors at thier burial. A friend of mine at church does the genealogical work -- living here in northern Virginia, you can imagine, he does find names from time to time. At the gravesite there's a small ceremony where a marker for the grave is unveiled, wreaths are presented, a firing party fires and I or my husband play TAPS (he's also an Army trumpet player -- retired).

The service was at Bacon Race Cemetery. Isn't that a funny name? It got its name because once upon a time there was a sporting facility across the street where there were races, (I thought it was going to be pig races, but no, it was) people races, and the victors received pork products. Sort of like corporate sponsorship at a bowl game. Sort of.

I really am looking forward to finishing the new digital paper. It's going to be Pig Races! (No, not really.) It's going to be 3-D Retro Rockets. Fun!
