Home again

I'm home again, and the first two days have been BUSY. I'm a little miffed that I managed to post every day I was away, and then dropped it the first day home. I guess that's the way it goes.

Photo is from my window on the plane. Do you like flying at night? I can sit and look out at the city lights for a long time. I love it. When I was little, my first airplane flight was to Florida and we flew back at night. After we got back I used to lay in bed with my eyes shut and kind of press my fingers into my eyelids -- do that for a couple of seconds and lights appear that to me looked like the lights from the plane. Hmmm...well, I'm glad to be back!

I prefer daytime flights. Though, the night sky is beautiful when you set off just before sunset.

Hi Luna,

You're right, daytime flights are easier on the biological clock. And, a little less unnerving on the landing. We came in through clouds, and it was dark, there were minutes for sure where the pilot couldn't see anything.
