Evergreen

Evergreen, located about 3 miles from home, is the outpost of civilazation nearest our mountain. All sort of uner one roof is a shop with a great deli (fantastic hot subs and sadwiches at lunchtime), equine biscuits (that's treats for horses) that have been bought and eaten (mistakenly) by people, fresh, bright red tomatoes and corn on the cob in season, hanging baskets for sale in the spring, a dog food shop, a service station, and a reliable assortment of old cars for sale or repair.

I passed the better part of the afternoon there today waiting to get the emmissions inspection done on my little Volkswagon Cabrio Convertible (it passed, good little car). I thought maybe I could get some interesting photographs while I waited. Felt foolish but did it anyhow. Love the textures. Do you agree?
