Monday, September 17, 2012 Oh, Autumn!
The weekend did not disappoint, I can't imagine more perfect fall weather. We walked the dogs, took an evening ride in the truck to Middleburg (ice cream shop was closed but we got a box of Oreo Klondike bars at the grocery store instead)...I wore my big, soft, slouchy, x-large (men's), leaf-green, JCrew, garage-sale, cashmere sweater (oh, paradise) and took a long afternoon nap.
Still in a paradiscal autumn mood this morning, I came across the Vintage Confections Store on Etsy.
Do you not love the acorns? So adorable! (Real acorns are falling like bombs on the rooftops here. Big year for acorns.) The caramel apple pops? I would like to eat them the most. The sweater (aforementioned) is the color of these candies. I will be wearing it again today. And tomorrow. Wednesday. Etc.

They've also got some very popular (and rightfully so) Solar System Lollipops that I won't picture here -- clearly the topic has been covered elsewhere. They are so popular, they can't fill orders for them until next January!
