What's new

I signed up for this online calligraphy class today from Melissa Esplin of the popular I still love you blog, and I bought an Etsy ad for my foam finger cupcake toppers and party pack (we're #1)!

The calligraphy class first appeared in my idea for a summer study of the classics. I've started the class...in the fall (the nice thing about setting goals is that if you accomplish any of it you've done something). I have always, always wanted to write beautifully. The first order of business will be to buy supplies. That's always the first order of business with an art class, but getting new art supplies is so fun!

So far, the Etsy ad has cost me 14 cents, and I've had 4 people click through to look. The ad costs $7 for a week, so if one person buys them it'll pay for itself. Seems like a pretty good idea.

I'll keep you posted!

Hey, good luck with the ad! Those are cute foam fingers!

Thanks! I hope I get at least one sale from it! 😁

I'm so excited to have you taking my class! I can't wait to see what you think up!

And good luck with the ad! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks Melissa! So far I've done the first exercise in your class -- the categorizing of the elements.

More click-throughs and a favorite now from the ad, still no big money. ;)
